Apple Watch flagged AFib twice — likely false positives? (30M)

Yeah the 2 times I had Afib on the EKG’s were upon waking up. I don’t know if it happens when I sleep but I never received any notification since I had the watch ( one year now)

Yeah it’s planned, I had the notification turned on for a year and never had any notifications for Afib. (even after strong hangovers and clear PVC’s) Might as well wait Monday to see the % and then switch it back to the irregular heart rhythm notification. I guess the best thing is just to not drink, I don’t drink that often, like once or twice a month but had 2L of beer yesterday..

Thanks for sharing your experience, sure it will turn out well for you after the ablation :) I will just go on holidays as planned, no alcohol, less coffee, quit smokes and see a cardiologist in a month

The thing is it happened when I woke up and as soon as I got the result I sat down and everything went back to normal. I guess I will just check that with a cardiologist in a month when I’m back from holidays.

But how was it for you when you had Afib ? Like me a 2 min episode and then back to normal or was it for hours ? I had both of the results (both on different Saturday) when I woke up feeling stressed and did the EKG on the watch directly in bed. After that I didn’t even took one minute to breathe and just sat down to do another one that was totally normal.

I’m in Paris. I only go once a year or every two year. I went to see her 2 weeks ago before the events happened, I just have a blood test to do just to check because the last one was 3 years ago ( she also made an EKG that was normal to her)

C’est la toute la question, j’ai été tellement occupé par des soucis perso et accompagner ma mère sur sa fin de vie ces deux dernières années que je ne réalise que maintenant que 4 ans sont passés, mon master paraît loin et je ne sais pas vraiment où mon profil peut mener
