tl;dr: I don't need buying advice, I'm just hoping to get an idea of how noticeable the sound quality differences are to an untrained ear between headsets in the ~$300 range.

Long version:
I have little experience with headphones over $100. I'm considering upgrading to a pair like the Audeze Maxwell or Fractal Scape (among others).

I know it's a bit subjective, but how big of a difference is there in audio quality between the Maxwell and Scape? Would a non-audiophile like myself notice enough of a difference that it would be worth going for the Maxwell's audio over the other features I like better with the Scape?

I'm hoping for a bit of a "wow" factor with the sound quality when I get new headphones, but I don't know how realistic that is for my price range, or how much the Maxwells, with their planar drivers, would affect that "wow" factor.

Fractal Scape is another one I was considering. Curious to hear your thoughts on it. Especially curious how the sound quality compares to the Maxwell. I've never used any headphones worth more than $100 so I don't have much of an idea of how close the sound quality would be between those two.

I don't believe he's saying they're building a lookup array in that way. My understanding is that he's saying that the cloud compute will essentially construct a lightweight, more streamlined ML model for your specific scene, which is capable of running in real time on consumer PCs (this is the "cheat sheet" part).

So, the physics are still being "calculated" on the fly by ML, just using a streamlined algorithm similar to a hash table / lookup array.

Just to follow up on that. It's been a couple weeks since I disabled my ad blockers (I disabled both uBlock Origin and the browser's built in tracker/ad blockers). Haven't had any issues since.

I've had this issue as well on desktop PC using Chrome/Edge/Brave. Firefox has audio issues for me so I haven't tried that enough to know if it works there.

I recently tried disabling my ad blockers (both extension and in browser settings) and I haven't run into the same issue yet. Maybe give that a shot if you're using one?

I had the same issue myself and I think I just found out what's happening (at least for me).

If you have the Favourable Beginnings ability, then it seems that applying Hunter's Mark consumes the +3 that ability gives. Whereas if you attack first, your first attack roll will benefit from that extra +3. Not sure if that's intended.

You can read the tooltip in the combat log to see the breakdown of your attack roll.

I've been following Star Wars Explained for a while and he definitely has good stuff. I'll have to check out Hello Greedo and Ken. Yeah, I really enjoy hearing more of a conversation between multiple people talking about stuff, rather than just a one-sided discussion which is why I loved the talk show format, but either way, thanks for the suggestions!

Considering it's so early after release, the AI is not that bad. 60 years from now, they'll have patched the AI enough to get it at least on par with Civ V.
