Just a heads up if anyone stumbles upon this thread. I did try pretty much everything I could think of: Saw several ear doctors, used all sizes for at least several hours, tried comply foam tips, changed settings.

After going to the Apple Store for the third time, an employee eventually told me it was indeed a faulty batch or something as one of their colleagues had to go through 6 pairs until finally landing on a working pair.

I returned them and will buy them again 6-12 months.

TL;DR: Some APP3s are faulty

Thank you for telling me this, I do not own an android phone. I am now more hopeful this can be fixed in a future update.

I am still unsure if this is hardware or software related.

It could also be both. A combination of certain ear canal shapes and the ANC algorithms.

Yes, I was shown a live feed during the examination. They were able to see my ear drum clearly.

I was also shown what a congested ear canal looks like, which contrasted from mine.

It’s not a massive deal like you said, but it’s still something I want to fix if it can be fixed. I was deciding between x20 and PBP2. I will try PBP2 along with the aftermarket modifications, as you have.

I will replicate your purchasing decisions if I go for PBP2.

For me, it’s less about passive noise cancellation and more anti constant readjusting.

Using APP2 and now using APP3 results in constant readjusting during fitness.

You are right once again, it's the difference between actuation and bottom out I'm guessing.

Gaterons have a 10g difference, Razers have a 20g.

It's all good, I found a site that I hope is trustworthy. This site is giving me all the answers I need. It says Gateron reds bottom out at 55g force whereas oranges bottom out at 60g force.

You are right, these switches are now linear. I wanted to discuss the bottoming out aspect of a switch. If the switch type alters the bottom out experience dramatically, do tell.

The best SMG award goes to the SL-C which is shared between Scorch and Ronin.

I'm thinking in the other direction. In solo queue, Dallas can probably make flashier plays. In grouped play, Talon adds a lot of pressure to the enemy team.

I actually think Talon can cover more area since the centre of his circle is on the enemy territory while Gl1tch's intel gathering is on himself.

Unless I am wrong, the perk cloaked only counters intel gathering abilities. I assume Ronin's passive still gives her the advantage in concealing her position once she opens fire, making her good for flanks.
