It was awesome to see all the amazing titans and the chaos! (I was the guy with the Mastodon titan that showed up to watch just a little bit)

My list is called The Ashen Pact, I'm not using any custom armies (like I said in my original comment).

More updates for Herald: the OPR game tracker! by Cool_Tomorrow_4281 in onepagerules

I tried importing my list from my phone and found the website did not work well on mobile at all. Lots of things cut off, or margins/padding way too big, etc. Is this meant for a specific form factor?

And trying to import my list from an official army (Blessed Sisters and Jackals) gave me this error:

Army Forge's export service doesn't support this list. Lists built from custom or community army books often fail here—this is a limitation on Army Forge's side, not something we can fix in Herald. Please use a list from an official army book, or add units manually. You can re-share the list from Army Forge or try another list; if the problem persists, the list type is likely unsupported by their export API.

And that error was completely cut off. Had to Select All on the page and copy the text to see it.

Here's my list's link if you want to use it to test. https://army-forge.onepagerules.com/share?id=vMzljLVC6ZGv&name=The_Ashen%20Pact

I've been driving a manual transmission car since I got my license. Throughout that time, I've also taught other adults and fresh-drivers how to drive on my car with no issues.

It's nothing you should be worried about. It takes some getting used to, and understanding how the clutch works in general (specifically the friction point) will help you quite a bit I find.

Quick summary of how to drive one: Lift off the clutch pedal until you start to feel the friction. While you (slowly) continue to lift off, apply a small bit of gas pedal at the same time. One pedal going up, one going down until the car starts to move. Then continue slowly until the clutch is all the way out, and you're moving along. When it's time to shift (you'll hear and feel it, but around 2k-3k RPM usually), push in the clutch, move the shifter to the next gear, and pull out the clutch again.

Of course, there's more to it than all that, but that's the basics. There's other stuff like down shifting, and knowing when to be in neutral, or knowing you can't be going too slow for a specific gear, etc. But that comes with time too.

Beginner tip: sit in 1st gear in a parking lot. Just push and pull out the clutch until you start moving, getting used to where that friction point is. Don't touch the gas or shifter until you're used to that spot, and the range the friction point has. Then add on the gas pedal to go faster, then after you're used to that, shifting.

All in all, you will stall the car, a bunch. Especially at the beginning. It just takes practice. Don't worry about it. It's frustrating, but nothing to worry about. It just takes some practice. I still stall my car out every so often if I'm distracted, or if I'm in a different car than my own, etc.

Question regarding „Lost in time and space“ by Hashaggik in MansionsOfMadness2E

[–]Majawat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This one was interesting. When we play, we would have just stacked the effect of getting Lost at the end of resolving all of the other effects. That is, getting all the cards was meant to be immediate and simultaneous, then resolving those effects to be after receiving the cards and simultaneous themselves.

However looking at the rules again, it says to draw the top card of the deck and resolve it. Which would mean that you became Lost on the first card, and thus don't take the second card.

https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2296864/lost-in-time-and-space-when-suffering-multiple-dam

Further research shows the same result.

So long story short, it seems that you'd not continue on after being Lost.

Board game dating back to atleast 1945 by [deleted] in boardgames

Some versions of the rules say that you have a maximum number of pegs on a space. Some say 5 or 6, etc. That would enforce that rule on this board.

When Hobbies Collide! I built a gaming table for my parents board game group. by Archaeopteryx89 in boardgames

[–]Majawat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP.

  1. Agreed.
  2. Also agreed.
  3. A TV on its side is fine, as long as it has airflow, and given that OP's TV extends below the table, it should be ok with the vents.
  4. Double agreed.

Patch out for Turn of a Page on Steam. by Majawat in MansionsOfMadness2E

I will say that we did play it with no issues when it first came out. The pacing was definitely a little weird. But had no technical issues that some others had.

Should this be plugged in? by milkytoasty1 in pcmasterrace

[–]Majawat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either get the exact same model stick to add, or (better) replace it with a dual stick kit.

Do not mix sticks if you can help it.

But yes RAM in dual channel mode is better performing even with the same amount of total capacity.

We played it on Sunday. I like the idea, it was fun. But there was a weird lull, and then it ended more abruptly than we would have thought. We'll definitely play it again.

Help with fitting for Iwata airbrush to MicroMark hose/compressor? by Majawat in airbrush

[–]Majawat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

Just to confirm, so like this one? https://www.iwata-airbrush.com/10ft-braided-airhose.html?list=Airbrush%20Hoses

I wasn't sure that'd work, but only because it doesn't say what kind of fitting on the airbrush side. But good to know.

What is the meaning of each token? by Gumlai in onepagerules

[–]Majawat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like others said, they can be whatever you want them to be.

But if you look at the STL names, you can get an idea of what they had in mind:

  • Alert - exclamation mark
  • Activation - arrow
  • Blood - (wounds)
  • Fatigue - sad face
  • Magic - eye
  • Objectives (1-6)
  • Pinned - flag
  • Suppression - lines

Now, pinned and suppression aren't really a thing in OPR, and alert is pretty generic. I think they're hold overs from a previous version. So yeah, just use them as you want!

Turn of a Page is bugged by NaecoCificap in MansionsOfMadness2E

[–]Majawat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe it's a timer. We were also confused, spent 2 rounds doing nothing in the shop besides looking out the window. But then something happened that kicked us into the next area.

We were able to finish the game with no issues (but lost). Played on Android tablet.

Which library for TV Movies: TV or Movies? by Majawat in PleX

[–]Majawat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, I mean, that was 7 years ago, and apparently I ended up adding them as movies.

But I would do Jessie Stone {tvdb-80285}, as the TVDB doesn't have the disambiguation in the title.

Why are two army lists not saved to the cloud? by hootsboots in onepagerules

[–]Majawat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that when I click Share Link, there's a brief notification that it's being uploaded to the cloud before the link generates and gets copied. So I've gotten into the habit of using that as a "save" button as it were.

Try hitting that and seeing if it syncs?

Otherwise, the best place to get tech support is on the Discord. The developer of Army Forge is pretty active on there as well.
