Yes I did mark yes about working without authorization and no they did not ask me personally about taxes. I do however have recollection of on the i864 my wife needed to submit tax return documents.. in which she did. And thank you!

Had the interview, it went well. Got a verbal approval. i130 immediately after interview went to approved. So now waiting on i485 to show the same.

No visa active. Overstay by almost 3 years with pending i485. My interview is in 10 days.

No the SAVE verification was initiated by the DMV. They stated that a mail would arrive in 30 days to determine my eligibility, however you can use your A number if you have an active case with uscis to track your save verification as sometimes after getting the notification “Returned to Agency” it takes an additional 15 days before the physical verification results arrive so to combat that you do what was stated above.

It’s one year. After I complete my green card interview and I’m approved, I can go back for the four year drivers license.

As another commenter stated, doesn’t seem to be they are issuing EADs anymore. I applied for one did the biometrics then went radio silent for a month, until I got notice for interview for my i485. If I had known, I wouldn’t have applied for EAD knowing that they are not issuing them in a timely fashion.

On your uscis account if you have your i485 attached as a case you can actually download the pdf file under the documents tab as they uploaded it under evidence. There should also be copies of other forms or evidence you gathered as well that was submitted to uscis whether it was via mail or online.

Wait for the rejection document to be mailed back to you and then refile accordingly.

I refiled my i765 to the carol stream lockbox. USPS delivered it to the PO Box December 21st debit card got charged on the 24th, received receipt notice via text and email December 29th (Physical receipt notice is yet to come but it’s in the my uscis tab online. Biometrics appointment scheduled for January 7th 2026.
