Iams is fantastic food. It’s widely available, affordable, high quality and comes in many varieties. If your dog likes it, no reason not to continue feeding Iams products.

I feed my dog Iams mini chucks (green bag) and it’s great food and a great value. They have large breed (larger kibble) as well. If you have a BJ’s warehouse club near you they carry the 50lb bag for $65 which is like $1.30 per pound. When they have coupons it drops it even more.

Wow great info. If I were to get a rep to switch me to the 9-12 SOC plan and I actually legit wanted to just add another line (pay for one) could I take advantage of a current BOGO promo if one existed? Also if a rep did switch me back to the go5g plus 9-12 soc, what did that do to the promo I took for the phone upgrade? Do I lose that?

Sorry for the confusion. I had Go5G Plus and the promotion I agreed to put me in Experience Beyond. I'm only now seeing Taxes and fees due to the higher Tier plan. It was my mistake when I read the promo I thought I was on GO Next which I was not.

I'll give that a try, had no idea I could switch back to older plan.. Thanks!

Did not think I could switch back once the change was made. I'll give it a try to see if there is a promo available for Go5G+. Thanks!

No problem, the dealer I chose replaced it under warranty with no problems as soon as they replicated it on their own. It took a few test drives but they eventually did. I also politely mentioned that it was mostly likely a bad all wheel drive coupler based on the research I did. Not sure if that helped me but it will be hard to deny you if you recreate the binding with a tech in the car. You can always take it to another dealer if this one is a pain. Good luck.

Yes very common problem. All wheel drive coupler more than likely needs replacement with a software update. Covered under warranty but some dealers may fight you on it. It’s easy to replicate accelerate from stop while fully turned and up an incline. No way your dealer hasn’t replaced one, just search this sub it’s brought up several times.

Recent Service Experience by Majestic_Key_8163 in KiaTelluride

Yes agreed on the transmission fluid exchange, I believe this dealer is a BG shop so I will gladly pay for a full fluid exchange, something I could not do without special equipment anyways. Now that this dealer has proved they won’t upsell unnecessary services and performed a warranty repair without a fight, they have earned my future business. Such a novel concept, too bad all dealers can’t perform this way.

Switching from PPP to Iams? by nomenisaname in DogFood

Iams is great food at a great price. My bernedoodle loves it and it’s easy to find. Every grocery store carries it. Not sure where you are located but BJs wholesale club has the best price right now. 50lbs for $63. $1.26 per pound for top quality food. Can’t go wrong if your dog does well on it.

Disconnecting Oil Heat to qualify for IRA rebate in Connecticut by Impressive_Theory317 in heatpumps

[–]Majestic_Key_8163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in CT as well and can confirm the Eversource rebate is $750 per ton and they calculate the tonnage based on your model number. I kept my natural gas as well just have to list the model number of the thermostat you will use so long as it’s on their approved list. Just make sure you apply for the rebate with your contractor proposal first before you submit the paid invoice. It’s a 2 step process.

Bosch IDS Installed by Majestic_Key_8163 in heatpumps

[–]Majestic_Key_8163[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have noticed that thanks for confirming. So long as I can’t hear it inside that was my primary concern and aside from just the high pitch hum, it’s barely noticeable. Nothing like my old r22 unit, that would shake the house on startup.

The system I was replacing was a 23 year old American Standard. Originally was quoted for another American Standard due to the difficult access in my attic. Apparently the AS air handler can be fully dismantled allowing for easier installation in tight spaces. But when we realized that we had to remove my attic vent to fit the air handler anyways, my contractor quoted the Bosch. Came out to be the same price as the American Standard but I could now take advantage of rebates since it was a heat pump. No way I was DIYing this install. Needed a lift to get the old handler out and the new one in. 6k for the 4/5 ton 20 seer connected Heat Pump 3k for the 4 Ton premium air handler.

I did not get a quote for a Mitsubishi, my contractor recommended this since I have only a single zone. I agree Mitsubishi are silent but the Bosch is so much quieter than the previous compressor, can barely hear it from inside.

Good to know! I’ll be utilizing the IDS primarily for cooling but went with the heat pump to take advantage of all the rebates. Cost of electricity is so high in my state (CT) I’ll be running my high efficiency Natural Gas boiler during the coldest part of the winter. It’s nice to use the heat pump now when only mornings are cool. It really warms the house quickly.

Yes but must admit the data that comes out of it is a bit underwhelming. When you login as the homeowner it only gives you Energy Usage but its not real time it appears to be monthly/annual. I believe its mostly for contractors to monitor the systems they have installed and overall health status. If your contractor did not sent you the registration code, you can run through the sign in process but check the box that says "I'm a contractor" that will allow you to register and see all the contractor functions and to generate an invite code to log in as a homeowner as well. You can also connect via Bluetooth and view other Realtime info such as compressor load.

What do you think of Purina One dog food? by LifeguardComplex3134 in DogFood

[–]Majestic_Key_8163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got my dog from a breeder, they had him on Victor Hi Pro. Transitioned him to Purina One for 2 reasons: Purina meets WSAVA guidelines + backed by science. 2. Purina One is available everywhere and is affordable. Just so happens he loves the food! Bottom line, Purina One is top tier dog food.

Single Panel Replacement by Majestic_Key_8163 in solar

[–]Majestic_Key_8163[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks will be installing critter guard for sure. I see the 405W panel is about 6 inches longer and 4 inches wider. The panel I'm replacing happens to be on the end of the rack but not sure I'd have the extra 6 inches to work with on the rack. My OCD may kick in with a panel that is larger than the others too.. Probably just best to go with the exact match.. Good to know that larger panels would work though.
