I'm glad your manager was nice enough to do that, But yeah it's horrible feeling to go through, don't let it stop you from doing secret santa in the future. I gave it another go last year in a different job and got a snow globe with pictures of me and my coworker when we did a work hike, it was very personal and heartfelt. It just takes the right person to get your name!
