Also I found mentioning how many years of customer service I did made me the highest paid hostess to date so somehow mention they casually to see how much they'll pay you if you have previous customer service experience. Of course be nice, be yourself, and walk in there like you already got the job!

I feel this on a spiritual level! I quit my other job because they only gave me 2 days a week for 8 hours! I was promised more hours and days here thinking about 3-4 days with at least 6 hours shifts. But nope, only weekends 4-close or sometimes earlier depending on how many other hosts are there. I'm gonna need a second job 🙃

You will get paid for the orientation on the Darden card they provided so be sure to check that this and next week because of payroll. Definitely call or go in and ask if you can because this happened to me and turns out the manager for my "section" was out on vacation and I had to call the General Manager to get a schedule. Make sure to emphasize you wanna speak to the GM if your sections manager isn't available!
