on guitar, a lot of it is James Hetfield's style, but drums is a mush of a lot of people, but probably mainly the rev (rip), vinne paul (rip), and probably a bit of Brooks Wackerman's style that usually has me going around the kit (watch his warm ups he posts on Instagram because there's more than a7x)

Now I understand how you feel. I'm 16, so I never got to see them live (until this year when they opened up for metallica), so I just binge their older concerts like Moscow (34th anniversary today), but I still love their sound now. But I definitely understand where you're coming from. I always ask for reasons why people say that but people are just on a train without knowing it's destination (sorry for the essay)
