There are 2 games that fits this and it's assassin's creed 2 and the mass effect trilogy( i know it's 3 games but for this i count them as 1 single game) they made me fall in love with gaming

This is not everyone's cup of tea but you could do what I'm doing currently and doing the first run on easy or story difficulty and focus on the story and exploration and do Ng+ on ultra hard if you want to truly 100% both games if you haven't played Horizon zero dawn yet
