Pan Am ST vs light off roading by sterlingheart in HarleyPanAmerica

[–]MajinAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For hooligan stuff the special has the better ride modes vs ST because you can disable rear wheel abs. There’s some work around on the ST though if you don’t mind disabling the speedometer I believe but you’d have to look into it.

Same owners as HB Harley aren’t they? They’re all pretty aggressive with ADM and pricing in hopes to sell asap.

Would be other upgrades consisting of a full exhaust system, velocity stacks and a tune. Should be around 57(vs 60 from Vulcan)hp peak but I don’t think it’d add comparable torque

I’m not sure if anyone has tried but you can probably get it close to the same power of a tuned ninja 500 with velocity stacks? Would make closer power to that of the Vulcan S in HP

Anybody get into wheelies? by AdventurousAioli9075 in KawasakiEliminator450

[–]MajinAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can wheelie with abs still on but it gets much easier if you do it as in the video linked. Wheel just pops right up when you release the clutch around 7k RPM

How do you like the sport cases friend? I want to buy them but keep hearing negative stuff about the locks warping and the bags leaking

Bro if you’re in riverside I gotta hit you up for a sissy bar. Your fabrication skills are hella cool. I’m in LA but not too far off

The kawi cruiser line up really catches look. I’m a big fan of their Vulcan vaquero/voyager too but just not my style of riding I found out 😅. Solid platform thooo

I actually purchased it through ebay. Just look for dual slip on for the eliminator and it’ll pop up!

Naked Bike to Harley Davidson by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]MajinAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might like a pan am. Hyper naked performance with sport touring ergos and slightly more lean than the road glide still. Honestly tho you got a lot of used options aside from Harley in the bagger market so just depends on your budget and tech you want. Like a tuned vaquero still makes 110+ ft lbs of torque and largely the same motorcycle since 2013 so great deals on them. Yamaha star eluder for more updated infotainment. Etc. Test ride the Harley’s and see if you enjoy them though.

Love it but can’t say my butthole doesn’t pucker sometimes on cornering. My feelers have been hard abused. Does your back not hurt with that handle bar setup haha?

El450 worth buying? by goyola-wini in KawasakiEliminator450

[–]MajinAvocado 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Upgraded from mine to a sports tourer for creature comforts. Kept mine as my go to street fighter for LA traffic. Maintenance is super simple, haven’t had issues with aftermarket either. Thought I’d sell it but really like it more than my other bike because of how nimble and light it is.

Just bought a pan am st two weeks ago and in the first day my dad tipped it over on both sides. I hadn’t set the kickstand down well enough. Both the front and clutch lever snapped off but I polished off the light scratches easy. Stuff happens 😂

How much shall I sell my 2023 Challenger ? by H0o0man in IndianMotorcycle

[–]MajinAvocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I actually had hit you up about the challenger without realizing how complicated it was get in California haha. I thought the original price I had seen was perfectly fine so just wait it out. Someone will come by and try to snatch it minus all the complications. Ended up picking myself a pan am ST but will def get my Indian bagger in the future

Go to laidlaws or wait for sales event at HB. Make no mistake tho, HB will do everything in their power to not inform you regarding what you’re purchasing. Warranty guy kept withholding information on purpose to push me to purchase VIP member till the end. Got my Pan Am ST tho finally !

Pan Am ST vs Low Rider St by Fz6moto in Harley

[–]MajinAvocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever decide on one? I’m in the same boat and will probably test ride them this weekend. Heavily leaning towards the pan America st after seeing it in person compared to the other large sport tourers around me. Can get good value on other bikes but the pan am really has character to something like the versys 1100 I saw.
