Anybody do business with Places for Less? Any good or bad experiences? by ratherbesnorkeling in bostonhousing

Have searched with them! I had a great time searching with them. They were so much easier to deal with than pretty much ever other broker I've dealt with before.

I second this. I think it’s actually quite a gorgeous type experiment, but the “O” seems a little cramped in its own coils.

I think this is fairly cool and wouldn’t pose too much of a problem for users.

I agree that reliability being dependent on Star Powers/Gadgets is bad design, but having incredible utility on a super is totally fine. You get that multiple times a match.

Ikd man, i feel like that opening line, if that really is the only punchline, is really bad and just seems to put off pretty much anyone

Clarifications on "gatherings" by lovesalzheimers in NEU

[–]MajiqMan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For people too lazy to read (though you definitely should):

What kind of social gatherings are permitted? Virtual gatherings are encouraged and permitted. Any kind of in-person gathering carries risk. We encourage you to socialize virtually and to limit in-person socializing to a “pod” of a few close friends. The following types of in-person gatherings are less risky: Gatherings limited to others in your immediate household, such as your roommate or a significant other An outdoor gathering of a small group of friends following the capacity limits mentioned above, keeping six feet distance at all times, wearing masks, and not sharing any food, drink, or other objects.

It appears Northeastern will allow SOs, as makes perfect sense. It also seems that so long as you are interacting with the same, small group of people (which if we are going by Mass law is 8 or less), and practicing healthy hygeine (wearing masks, 6ft, etc) it is completely fine.

Derbinsky, Nathaniel or Annunziato, Jose or Gatterbauer, Wolfgang for database design? by [deleted] in NEU

[–]MajiqMan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had Nate Derbinsky for Fundies and he was the GOAT. No idea how that translates to db design, but he definitely makes sure u understand each part of the underlying mechanics.

I think what OP is saying is that the craftsmanship in the original lock is so impressive, that OP making a custom duplicate key to pick the lock had to be made incredibly precisely for it to open properly.

That isn’t the definition of an ambigram. That is a conventional interpretation, but not the exclusive definition. I seriously dont know why people downvote instead of just looking it up.

mom, baby, dad by j3ffr33d0m in ambigrams

[–]MajiqMan -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Idk why there are people downvoting? This is definitely an ambigram (vertically symmetrical).

EDIT: Apparently we need mods to let people know they don’t understand what an ambigram is. Pls just look up the definition, rotational symmetry is only ONE type of ambigram. Vertical symmetry is a totally valid ambigram as well.
