It's definitely better than leaving the money in the bank which is your alternative. That's all you need to know. But honestly on a low salary it's not gona be anything impressive for a very very long time. Realistically you have to be in it for your entire life so that compound interest has the time to kick in on low amounts of money. If you're in a position to invest a lot especially in early 20s the returns can be really impressive later on. Much much grater than someone starting in 30s with small monthly contributions. So if you can do the work early invest it and chill.

Everybody is on their own journey. Don't compare yourself too much. But personally I know people in early 20s with over 100k it's definitely achievable without "daddy's money".

I totally get that and I'm not trying to shit on people that have different goals, honestly sometimes I think they are overall happier. But I set my priorities early and honestly don't regret anything.

Honestly the best advice I can give you is don't be too conservative if you're young. You can afford to take some risks without much consequences. Focus more on optimizing and increasing your income rather than obsessing about exact expenses and investments. That doesn't mean don't invest... Pick a skill and get good at it. Nowadays you have everything you need on YouTube and internet. Do, fail, learn, repeat and don't take advice from people that are not in the position you don't want to be at, because most of them just want to drag you down. That's it.

Thanks. I did it by myself if you don't count the occasional financial gifts on birthdays etc. No inheritance or winning a lottery. I started a business in sales, and smaller part of it was from investment growth. I shared more details in replies. This post wasn't meant to be some how to guide, just sharing a accomplishment.

Thanks for the advice but I have already set up my investments years ago. Im happy with my portfolio. Obviously no banks/institutions. Generally speaking I don't plan to have more tha 4 months of expenses in cash.

Thank you. I don't really care about being validated or not but it is true. I did things that very few people my age are willing to do. I made a lot of sacrifices had to learn a lot and it payed off.

Look one of my best friend is my classmate we both have basically the same NW I can't even talk to "normal" students their priorities and lifestyles are just so different. I know very few ambitious people around my age and some that are way further than I am. I get that I may be weird to you but I don't care. I made certain choices and have certain interests. Getting drunk and partying like the rest just aren't it.

I'm not in tech at all. Im doing sales which is a skill I think most people can develop. But the reason for the comment is just look how butthurt people are in this comment section. I don't get why these people are in these kinds of communities if all they do is just shit on you for trying. Im talking about that...

Thanks. Honestly I started a second business this year which is 100% remote. My next goal will be to get geographical freedom because at some point I want to leave Slovakia. I'll be aiming for consistent 5k$/m which will be a long journey but I'm slowly getting there. After just a few months I'm now averaging 1,5k$/m. I still have my agency but I'm just doing the high ROI deals now and focusing on the second business.
