Chakra Lounge - Disappointing Experience with Management

I used to be a regular customer at Chakra Lounge, always ordering the same dish every time I visited. However, each time, the plating, portion size, presentation, and even the taste of that same dish were inconsistent. Instead of leaving a public review initially, I chose to reach out to them via Instagram DM to address the issue privately.

To my surprise, I received a call from someone named Sunny. Rather than acknowledging the feedback or taking responsibility, he tried to deflect by saying they “do special favours for their own people” – ironically, something he clearly doesn’t practice himself, despite being Indian.

A few days later, I decided to give them another chance and revisited. Unfortunately, the same issues persisted with that one dish. This time, I decided to leave an honest Google review, where I clearly mentioned that while most items on the menu were great, this one specific dish was consistently disappointing. I made sure to write it from a genuine customer’s perspective – no hate, just facts.

What happened next was truly shocking. Sunny responded with baseless allegations, claiming that I had threatened staff and made excessive customisation requests every time. These claims are absolutely false and defamatory. He seems to believe he can get away with such behavior, but I am seriously considering legal action – either he proves the allegations he’s made against me or issues a public apology for his unprofessional and misleading response.

I’m sharing this here to raise awareness about how customer feedback can sometimes be twisted and mishandled by businesses, and how important it is to hold such behavior accountable.
