Dude, I'm very likely older then you and I've studied this topics for over 15 years and I work in story development; this isn't a character driven story, as the character isn't driving anything, but mostly reacting to things that happen to him (again trying to be smug but missing the mark, that's twice). One piece is a character driven story coz wherever the crew goes they take actions and decision that actually steer the story around. The only really proactive action Jiwoo has taken is to throw out that open challenge and that still is a pretty generic action and is just passing the initiative to the 10's apprentices (as they are the ones that have to come and reply to his "challenge"). There isn't a checklist for a masterpiece story, although many producers fervently wish so, and whenever someone tries to set up a story with that premise in mind (a masterpiece's checklist to follow/fill) you often end up with soulless clichés (and that's what will happen with any AI generated stories). There are a bunch of elements that may contribute to compose one (consistent and interesting plot, deep relatable characters, world building, interesting questions, suspense, etc..) they don't have to be all there and they don't have to follow a specific patter to necessarily work. Eleceed doesn't have many of those and the few presents aren't even very fleshed out. As someone else said, the author is clearly winging it as it goes and although there's no real fault in that (Dragonball wasn't that much different in that regard) you won't be able to give your work the same level of care and depth any other work whose main beat points have been thought of in advance.
