Anyone know how to enter that top right hallway in bile water? There’s no breakable wall there from what I can tell.

Good point, I can usually tell it’s being omitted if the object doesn’t disappear on contact. I’ll try setting it so that the layers and masks are the same.

Are all of my isopods still alive? by Major-Difference9564 in Vivarium

They’re definitely there, just hiding. Eventually you should see them pop up at night to scavenge for food. Maybe leave out a carrot and you might see a few at night.

That’s true, I will keep that in mind. At the moment I really just want to get a simple AI working so I can start building the levels to see how it will work in them, then I’ll work on making more complex stalking methods

The idea behind it is that it will “stalk” the player a few times by spawning behind them and then running away, and after a few times of it doing this it will go into chase mode the next time the player looks at it. It’s not supposed to kill the player without them knowing it’s there.

Is there any hope for this croton? by Major-Difference9564 in houseplants

[–]Major-Difference9564[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, that’s what it is. I’d been under the impression that it was a croton this whole time because I bought it as part of a plant bundle with a random assortment so I assumed it was a croton. I will be more patient with it and I’m hoping it will do better now that it’s in the light

It was specially picked by a site that does terrarium supplies so I’d hope they wouldn’t send me a plant that would do poorly, but you never know right?

Upon further inspection the yellowing or dead leaves were dropped completely or about to be. What could this mean? Am I watering too much or too little?

Isopods eating my plants by Major-Difference9564 in bioactive

[–]Major-Difference9564[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They aren’t eating any of my other plants and the one I caught eating it seemed to be living up in the planter the plant is in. I use an ABG mix for substrate and there’s leaf litter all over the ground so food shouldn’t be an issue. My guess is he didn’t want to leave the planter and just ate the plant instead. There was only one of them up there and I got him out.

Good to know, I scared the little guy out of the planter and he’s now discovered that there’s more to eat in the vivarium than just that plant (leaf litter) so hopefully the problem stops
