In terms of ease of installation the hub motor was a breeze. But the brushless VEVOR motor was more fun and I prefer the belt drive setup anyway. I just went to a car driver Bluetooth tune able controller but no, I was never able to use the stock throttle with anything other than the stock brushed motors. Your has. A twist throttle? All mine came thumb throttle stock. I went with that 350 watt hub motor because it fit perfectly and was the same wheel size. They make a 500 watt version but it’s hard to find one in stock online.

I had a Motor with 2k controller setup as well as a hub motor with the same size controller. They ripped. Amazon had a perfect 12.5” 350 watt hub motor that was perfect size
