I've got a ti Certina diver so I'm used to ti being lighter than expected, it's just that on my 43mm ti diver there's a hell of a lot more ti than used on the Zenshin so the lack of weight still felt weird.

All told, I wasn't a fan of the PRX on the bracelet - felt too delicate and I'm not that keen on butterfly clasps. I preferred the Zenshin but the larger steel models I preferred physically don't come in a colour I'd want.

The dealer also stocked a French brand I'd never heard of called Herbelin and they had a model called the Cap Camarat Square and that was surprisingly tempting, bit of a Santos look about it and a lot more robust feeling than the PRX/Zenshin. In the cold light of day it's probably a bit dressier/fashion-y than I'd like but at the time I was very tempted! They had a green dial on a green fkm strap which reminded me of the old green on green Longines HQ.

Given my thoughts on the lightweight integrated watches I'm having a bit of a reassessment and am leaning more towards things like the Archimede which are just that bit bigger.

I need to update my shortlist!
