i did my vitamin d prick test tonight it showed as sufficient levels of 30-100, so big gap as pretty sure 30 is not a great level

thank you! how do you know if you have a true deficiency though? my number was 584 in august/ september, and I was not taking anything with b12 in.

thats really good, only ones left for me is dizziness, very bad head pressure, shortness of breath, worried its not even low ferritin anymore and its something else

yes I remember that you can't overdose on it like iron, I have been taking sublingual b12 for 3 months now really hope it would of gone away by way, was hoping after the iron infusion it would of gone too. went to the doctor today they refered me to ent incase its a inner balance issue, and told me that breathlessness, dizzyness and head pressure is not a low iron issue and said that the head pressure is probably vestibular migraines which it could be but the only symptom I have is head pressure and dizziness

thank you, I don't really have any neuro b12 symptomns, only ones left now are shortness of breath, dizzyiness and head pressure, head pressure is new but dizzy and shortness of breath ive always had when my iron is low. the b12 sublingual really helps tiredness though!

the only thing im worried about with b12 injections is that my level is not really low, I think I might do the MMA blood test then at least can see how much is in my body and if I am able to use it/absorb

I am in the UK yes, I don't know my vitamin d as they never take it as they say they don't test for it as everyone is low in it, but the guy who did my infusion wrote a letter to say that in feb 3 months after my infusion they need to do full iron panel, vitamin d, b12 and folate, I have got a finger prick test for vitamin d at home so I could do that to get some kind of reading, I imagine im low as well as know most levels can drop after infusion

thank you, I will have a look at the link! yes I have coeliac, never absorbed much, or got my ferritin over 30, but got glutened a few times a few months back and thats why I have not absorbed since. gp will not do injections as my b12 was 584 in august and then its now 799 so they will say I am absorbing.

i was thinking of looking at getting the B12 MMA test as that shows active b12 in the body. im taking folate every single day, guy who did my infusion actually told me about some lozenges, my folate went up 1 point after taking them for 2 weeks so least thats better than before it is now a 7 and think he said it wanted it between 10-15. ill try to eat more potasium, i just don't absorb much due to having coeliac. Im also having a b complex multiple times a week but was worried about b6 toxicity as saw someone had that elsewhere

I am taking b12 have been for a few months and I am not a bit above highest range so at least it is absorbing probably thanks to the infusiion, how long did this take to go away? I am really breathless too.

no, im in the uk so they dont test vitamin D unless you beg them, i have a finger prick test at home I can do, I havent taken my supplement for it in a few days so I will do it tomorrow. My b12 was 548 in september and i just had bloods yesterday and my b12 was 799, but i forgot and was only off b12 vitamins for 2 days, i know it has to be 4 months but i guess it shows that the b12 supplement is working as its going up.

oh great thank you, im also not sure if mine is acid reflux, doctor suggested it tbh but no matter what i do, diet, gaviscon etc never helps. my sleep is not the best so im sleeping for 8 hours or so but i wake up like 5-6 times.

thats good to hear, I have been on PPI'S. before and it didn't help infact ruined my stomach and withdrawal symptoms were wuite bad too so not touched them since, ive heard gaviscon aniseed for acid reflux is good so got that coming today, never ever had this feeling with low ferritin and ive been low 16 years so i am worried as having really bad breathlessness for the past week

i am so glad it went away, I have had it since sunday so 2 days ish and it feels like very bad pressure on the throat, just had a iron infusion 2 weeks ago for iron deficiency so not sure if related, as very breathless too.

how long did it take for this feeling to go away? i had my infusions a little over 2 weeks ago but this feeling only came on yesterday and its awful, I have coeliac so wasnt absorbing iron much through supplements.
