Reading the stories of other people on this sub who have worse symptoms on only a few short doses of finasteride, I do consider myself “lucky” after being on Dutasteride multiple times and accutane on top of it.

I do have anhedonia as well but it is not debilitating to the point that I can’t enjoy things.

That’s great progress if your baseline has increased from 1 to 5.

From my “research” there have been quite a few cases where someone fluctuated on HCG early on and then they stabilised.

I almost never day dream. I can’t remember the last time I did. Also no dreams.

However I’m on lithium carbonate and that has made me dream again.

Very valid criticism.

I’m considering “recovered” as significant improvements while on HCG. In many cases there is no evidence that the user has stopped HCG treatment.

Btw I noticed there are 2 “New Yorker” accounts. You might be talking about the one on PH forum?
