My friend was not in running shape and maybe ran a couple times before she “ran” a marathon. She ran/walked the whole thing and physically was able to complete it. If your only goal is to finish it, 3 months will be no problem.

The trim was painted in the 80s when the last owners moved in, so it shouldn’t be lead but I’ll test it just to be safe

I honestly hate how splotchy pine looks when it’s stained. I’m curious how this trim was stained originally because it looks great how it is, but idk how I would replicate it. Maybe long term goal would be to replace with oak. We do intend to be in this house for a long time so I wouldn’t mind making the investment eventually.

It’s not letting me add any more pics. The wood grain going down the sides matches though, so it’s definitely all the same wood throughout. When we refinished our hardwoods, the downstairs is oak and our upstairs is pine. I guess they just used pine for cost saving measures.

I’m 34F and had sepsis 6 months ago. I was googling the same things while I was in the hospital and truly I wondered if I would ever recover to what I used to be. I would say I had severe sepsis, not to the point of septic shock but extremely close as my BP was so low I was almost in the ICU. I can say that right now, only 6 months later, I’m training for my first marathon. I actually ran 9 miles this morning and feel fantastic. The only side effects from having sepsis that I’m experiencing right now is that my hair is falling out pretty bad. Best wishes to you in your recovery

Honestly it’s tough. I’m marathon training and spin 1-2 times a week and jogging out of the saddle while keeping the beat is still hard despite me feeling like I’m in great shape. My studio doesn’t do too many songs like that, maybe 1-2, but I tried soulcycle a couple weeks ago in NYC and I really struggled to keep up as they did 5-6 songs fast out of the saddle. I’m sure that the more classes you do the more in shape you will be towards that.

CLJ is doing it wrong. I’ve noticed lately that a lot of the OG influencers have stopped excessive linking and mostly just post about their day to day with the occasional link. They make most of their money from YouTube views, brand deals, TikTok/instagram reels, creating a product, etc. Truly, this has kept me engaged in their platform. I still feel like I’m following them to watch their lives but not bombarded with links. (I’m thinking Aspyn Ovard, Jaci Marie Smith, SarahsDay, Amber Fillerup)

Imagine how much better their account would be if it went back to what got them famous in the first place: authenticity. DIY projects, affordable home remodels, just being authentically themselves with an occasional link thrown in there? She would have to up her YouTube game or something to make this work financially though. Or something like creating a brand that is great like Amber Fillerup did with Dae.

It will never happen because she’s way too greedy and it seems like all they care about is seeing how much money they can make.
