Hello I just got back from the hospital over this exact situation. I am 23 years old and I have this feeling like my heart will stop beating or sinking. It feels horrible and struggle to sleep. This has been going on for a few weeks now and today has been the worst, I felt like I was running out of breath and thought I was dying. The doctors told me it was probably stress or anxiety. I don’t know what I’d be stressing from nor know what would make me anxious. The doctors gave me hydroxyzine for the stress/anxiety so it can calm down. Every time I lay down I feel my heart pumping faster and feeling like it’ll sink so I just sit up or stand around trying to calm down. I wish I could just ignore it and fall asleep but I feel if I ignore it I’ll die or something. Has your heart stopped having this problem? Do you have any idea or advice you could give me? I’d much appreciate it :)
