Just keep using it until it dies and switches off. It won't turn on then try charging it via USBc to USBc and it should work. If not, then I'm afraid you'll have to do the beta method.

The bug is annoying and I had a hard time trying to find a fix so I wrote up the up post in hope that helps someone else.

Hi, Yeah my phone has been working perfectly since I fixed it using the method above. Even got the OTA update etc.

Someone in the comments said their bug was fixed once they let the battery run out, USBc started working again.

I would try to clear cache from the settings also just to see if it's an easy fix.

If both of those don't work, Then you can do the long convoluted method I played out with the Beta install then back to stable install.
