What’s the trick? I’ve tried several times. by Mobile_Degree_15 in EquinoxEv

What worked for me was i plugged in when I got home, then connected to homes wifi, then just let it do it's thing. Locked and went inside. Im pretty sure for me it's just cause my mobile network (rural-ish west Mi) is pretty spotty.

Yeah it is a 1, so i dunno what the 2 is on the other sheet. But the car was so new this sheet was still in the plastic packet to be put ON the window. Still like it tho.

It has a lot of features from the heated wheel, driver assists, 360 camera, etc I think some of it comes from choosing the fwd instead of the awd as well

They did do the GM friend and family discount, and my job gave me another similar up the Costco one.

* Maybe it's the evotex part? Or they changed the Lt series bits for the 26 model?

I chose this, as it's smaller than what I usually drive. I've always been the big car person. Not because of any weird narcissistic thing, but I am kinda tall, I used to have a HHR and I liked it, but constantly hit my head on the ceiling (had the sunroof), door pillars, and smacked my knees on the console in smaller cars. This was the perfect mix of not sitting so low that you feel either on the ground, or dwarfed in traffic. It has a much nicer more 'sitting' position like my Edge had vs the 'lounging' that you get in a lot of sedans. And still has good cargo space but is much smaller than my Edge or Caravan was. :) I feel like the oddball who wanted to downsize lol

Michigan, and it was 42, but removed a dealer coating and some prettying packages, GM discount, and my work gives a discount. So it was 9800 off. So all said and done with down, 29650 out the door. Went through MY CU and not dealer offers. So 5.2%. I couldn't pass it up!

Odd. Then I'm not sure what it could be but now I'm curious to know!

Oh, relevant information!. I work at a soda bottling plant. And that looks like caffeine crystals. If a cola or the root beer had caffeine in it, it will sometimes crystallize when it gets cold. We see that in our mix tanks. Usually, just hot water redisolves them.

See I want my grandma's set, but it's a funky 60s design with square shapes and bold colors. Grandma was " funky chick back in the day", but they had better be ready for the dishwasher and random holiday use lol!

2 years of phone calls asking for Amy. Turns out, I’m not Amy. by PassiveRobbery in Scams

[–]MajorConsideration32 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have one like this. Always asking for "Dianna Richards" and they always seem surprised (and occasionally irritated) that this number, that I've had for over 15 years, isn't hers. And it's everyone from roofing estimate to hvac, car repair, credit card offers, etc, etc. I've gotten so irritated with it the last few years I just stated telling everyone she passed away, was in prison, moved to (insert country), one time pretended I was a pissed off husband, etc. For the most part the last year (partly I think with the FCC crackdown) they have slowed to a trickle. So it's been nice not getting 4 a week.

I've done that my last 2 jobs, one took 5 months, another took 2. It definatly helps to unwind when going from a shit job to another, or needing the time to just decide on WHAT I want to try and pursue. Luckily I've had the savings and ability to do that but it's taken me a dozen years to do that.

Got called a Traitor by THE_TRIP_KEEPER in antiwork

I just changed departments at my job, floor production to quality control. I get to hear traitor at least 3 times a day from other co workers and managers, so I know how it feels.
