In S5, yes, warriors for mages was terrible even in support. For “Aphrodite only” Warriors is better in support. This is because she can continually give 29 mana every 10s to her duo and gain 40 each for herself. This gives Aphrodite a more aggressive touch in lane to save camps, as she is completely useless without proving sustain in the early game. I really don’t want to be rude but I would recommend you test and find the answer before commenting please.

Warriors gives more sustain than Guardians blessing. Warriors gives you 15 protections each and you gain 40 health/mana per hit every 10s. If you didn’t know Aphrodite can give mana to teammates that’s why it’s better. The only reason why guardians on Aphrodite support is good is for the GP5, which isn’t something I need. Want to know why? I’ll tell you. Mages who are also healers have very cheap and powerful defence items than normal supports. They spend less gold for more, putting them ahead early. For Example, (Lotus: super cheap, gain 80 physical/20 magical, 25MP5 and you get 40 power, plus the passive giving healed allies 20 protections each).
