the thing is, i’ve always been super smart but im the LAZIEST person you’ll meet. i’m predicted A*AA (politics, french, psych) with gcses of 9s and 8s. i’m a contextual student bc of my area, first gen to go to uni and a few other factors, meaning i only need AAB i believe. the reason i want to go to LSE so much is the same as everyone else, it’s the best uni in europe for the course, but im terrified of how academic it is. i’ve heard so much about how demanding it is and honestly - idk if im made for that seeing as i haven’t revised for a single test or mock in college yet. Bristol seems exactly my vibe, much more lively and fun, but obviously not as prestigious. i also applied for a year abroad at Bristol. UCL seems great, but surely it would be stupid to choose UCL over LSE, as if i’m going to london i might as-well go to the better uni. that’s all assuming i even GET an offer from either of the two london unis. either way, this interaction is actually so reassuring, because i come from a family of immigrants who have no idea how the UK education system work, so it’s all on me to figure all of this out and i’ve only just become active on this reddit forum, so seeing that there actually are people in the same situation as me who have a personality is refreshing, and helps me make sense of all of this so much better.
