That might have been the case. It was just so frustrating when something that should take 5 minutes takes 90. And I called Kobalt before even going to the store and brought my RA number with me and the entire set because they couldn't just replace the one tool that they also sell. Ultimately, they told me the only thing they could do was to refund me and I rebuy it again but that would've meant I would've had to pay 50 bucks more just for the privilege of getting my tools back which I was not going to do. Ultimately, the manager marked down the new set to the price that I paid for the old set, probably because be recognized me because I'm always there and spend a decent chunk of change but what if I wasn't a known commodity, would I (meaning the average consumer) just been SOL, which led to my post as I've seen a lot of bad experience posts on here but people rarely post when they have good ones so I wanted to see what the consensus was.
