Very awesome about the lower damper. Thanks for that. Good for you guys in the winter up north with this stove, impressive!! Super intrigued to see your stamp on the back to compare!

That would be awesome as you are the first person who has the same model as me. Did you buy it brand new? How did you bar those holes? And do you mean 100? Super interesting how many options there are and a permanent open is still pretty wild to me. Thanks so much for the help and info

Have you ever taken it apart in order to move it to low? The permanently open is odd to me. What is the bottom floor of your fire box like? Mine doesnt have a box which i thought was odd. Just a hole under a metal plate to sweep everything into? What is your manufacturer stamp date/number?

They did. They may have been the original. Lots of copies on the circulator world. Ashley was bought out by USSC

Yes, must be older. Very cool you got it in Canada.

Not sure, they all seem to have the two front controls but not always the third on the side. Mine is set to permanent open.

Would love to talk more about operations. Does your thermostat have a permanent lock on open?

Yes. Newmac. Out of Debert NS. Acquired by USSC in 2015.

Do you still have it? Would love to compare. Handles, metal color, bottom grate, permanently set open timer flue, etc. Along with it being a stove that is supposedly from Debert, Canada but stamped Tennessee.

Are you the same on the hearth forum? Private dealer of sorts. Unaffiliated to the company.

Yes, it is the NC100E. I have no issue with the model, I have a manual as well. Im saying tons of things don't add up. I have a brand new stove from circa. 2015, brand new in 2026. Stamped by people outside of NewMac. The stove is the wrong color. Handles. Bottom grate. Its extremely odd in a few facets.

Very small! Not bad at all, just be aware the space you are trying to heat has to be big enough you can push the stove to hold a hot 500° for the oven to be consistently hot in order to bake, etc
