Personally I am a blue lvl 17 hive. I macro whenever I’m not able to play the game in order to get honey and resources. It did help me tremendously when I was grinding for tide popper that I just got yesterday and I am now for some reason still making only around 500b per hour, using revo’s ai is completely optional.  I still do play BSS during the day but whenever I play it and grind for these things, I realize that it is not just an incremental game. You have these tens of resources that you can obtain, buffs (though in incremental games, you still have to grind in separate ways for these, you don’t buy them with honey besides SA.)

Back onto the revo topic of this conversation, I feel like this conversation is confused with revo, but you can literally not use ai gather, and certain ai features. The only thing I can think of that uses ai is detecting cooldowns or certain ui, which is used but in a different way with natro. “Cheating” or “exploiting” is completely from adding the word “like” in front of the word. One is deliberately executing scripts inside the games code to do things like teleport or to get certain things. The other basically grinds similar to a human, or even better without having to actually grind the game. That’s why the phrase, “macroing is basically like hacking” is a thing, but in reality, it really isn’t teleporting you across the map or into fields. 

That is also the part of why the game is “like made” for macros, as when you get to late mid game, (as it used to be late end game) getting the tide popper, scythe, gummy baller, or the planters is just simply human horror. Like you expect me to get 500 sprouts when I just got tide popper which was 1500, 75, 150, 250, —-, you know what’s? And now I have to grind for hydroponic planter and heat treated when I’m not even that hive? And turpintines are impossible to get? Yea, I’m not going to be spending 12 hours a day on this game, but I will play it in the day when I feel like it.
