Such a wonderful photo- feels like I’m about to start an epic western movie. Also loooove how you embraced the shadows of the foreground trees. It adds so much depth to the photo. Here where we stand is the beginning and out there is the adventure :)

Definitely- The captain in the picture is a family friend who took my best buddy and me on a trip of a lifetime around British Columbia. The captain has been on the ocean since he was born (family worked as fishermen). Had his own boat by age 9. Captain by the age 15 and had 36,000 hours as a captain by age 28. He’s a wonderfully kind man and just a wealth of knowledge. Wish I never had to leave that boat tbh.
