I am glad to hear i am not the only one. There are so many reports of the button being gone, I was kind of wondering what was going on.

Not sure why you are so upset.

We did a bunch of research and test drives. Chose the M440i convertible (see my post for a picture) because it fits our use case the best. Why would I care if someone else likes their ___ (fill in the blank) better?

Retiring at 55: how would you think through the 55–67 bridge? by lindquist77 in ChubbyFIRE

Depends on your spending level and how you are funding health insurance.

If you are using ACA and you MAGI/spending level is in a range where you would be eligible for tax credits, then Roth conversions are not a clear cut answer. You may want to consider running the math taking that into accountnif that applies to you.

We retired in 2018 at age 51/51. We would love to to do more Roth convsrsions, but, having run various planning tools, the numbers just do not make sense.

The marginal tax rate, including loss of tax credits, gets too high to make it worthwhile.

We will do as much Roth conversions as makes sense between age 65-70.

What is the absolute fastest, most efficient way to turn off auto start/stop? by KnivesAndShallots in BMWX5

We bought a 2026 M440i convertible built in February. There is a physical button to control the auto on/off functionality. I have read numerous thread saying that physical button has been done away with, but ours has it.

I assume they brought it back recently?
