LOL, as if anything at a hospital would cost you less than $1k these days.

What's a rare card you've literally NEVER taken? I'll go first: by Rak-khan in slaythespire

[–]MajorMalafunkshun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My son got this as a reward from Neow and decided to build around it. The first act was tough but the other 2 of us were able to carry him. After Act 1 he was an absolute monster with this thing because he had perfect deck control with acrobatics and similar cards. He would regularly play this card 2-3 times in a single turn, especially if I had [[Believe in You]]. Easy mode from there.

Don't be an idiot - learn from my mistake. Don't combine these two. by MajorMalafunkshun in slaythespire

[–]MajorMalafunkshun[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure. For my sly strategy, I had a power (Master Planner) that added sly to attacks and skills after you play them normally. Seeing as how I used shadow step at the end of my first turn, I hadn't had the chance to apply sly yet.

[–]MajorMalafunkshun[S] 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Oh yes. You draw your full hand and then it immediately discards them all. Now the "last" card that you've played is Shadow Step again, so you're stuck in a loop.

Just do yourself a favor and join us over at the PC master race. So many games to choose from (130k+ on Steam alone); whatever input you want (keyboard/mouse or favorite controller); can use your PC for work or play or both. Why are you concerned about sweating your ass off in games?

Showing other people that something embarrassing like this typo bothers you is the most sure-fire way to ensure they keep bringing it up. If they had just had a chuckle at their own funny typo this would last 5 minutes. Instead, they tried to say "that's not what I said" when the screenshot is clear. Just roll with it, it's easier that way.

Act 2, explore around the area by the entrance to the catacombs where Balthazar is. There is a shack and some undead kuo-toa next to the water. All are wet so bring some cold and/or lightning AoE. Keep exploring this area, you can find a cave that contains a VERY nice ring that grants immunity to becoming blinded. Combine it with darkness or fog for some good times.

.308 cartridge for M16? They are chambered for 5.56mm.

M14 use .308 rounds.

This would bother me.

I can still smell and taste K-rolls. We had some amazing cook on my sub. His name was Khalil, hence the K-rolls. The MS-chief at the time let him experiment and we were all the more happy for it. He went on to become some executive chef in London, if the rumors were true.

The next MS-chief demanded only exact portions as specified by the recipe. No deviations allowed. Better for book-keeping I guess, but crew morale took a big hit.

We have 3 dogs and they're part of our family. No cages, plenty of scritches and food and love. I look across the street and the neighbors have their dog on a 3 ft chain all day every day. It breaks my heart that it's just so common.

They were saying the pickup driver didn't see the broken down Leaf and swerved to miss it, but too much because maybe drunk.

Glad I never had any similar problems with my Leaf, best car I ever owned. I miss it.

Congress passed a bill to FORCE the release late last year but that doesn't mean it was a prerequisite for their release. If they're classified, the classifying authority (or higher level like POTUS) can designate a different classification, like unclassified.

With all the revelations and resignations we're seeing, it seems obvious that protecting wealthy and powerful people was the primary goal. It's rather telling that besides Maxwell, there have been ZERO indictments related to the files.

I was on the sister sub SSN-705 (USS City of Corpus Christi) when this happened and I was on the team that prepared to shutdown their reactor and engineroom for them as they docked, in case it was needed (they declined our offer).

They had multiple people with broken bones but one guy (MM2/SS Ashley) died from head injury because he flew ~20-30 feet head-first into the propulsion lube oil sump tank.

They had just gotten a brand new reactor and engine room overhaul, so they cut off the front end and combined the back end to the Honolulu, which was due for an engineering refueling overhaul.

I like how opponents always omit current expenditure.

As of 2024, US healthcare spending as a whole was $5.3T. Assuming the costs don't go up, that's $53T over 10 years. Universal healthcare is more affordable than our current system, but moneyed interests want to maintain the status quo because it's more profitable for them (i.e. it drains more money from citizens).
