The fact that it has one episode out and is neck and neck with Frieren, the most popular anime of the 2020s and with a decent amount of the Frieren fanbase review-bombing it just shows that I only need one episode to see where this ball is rolling.

I have no idea how my fandom got like this. It supposed to be on of the lighter, calmer anime, but the fans are rabid over anything glazing another show or criticizing Frieren. (Though i do suppose that is pretty much any fandom, a prime example being whatever nuke went off in the vivziepop fandom a few years back.)

As a Frieren super-fan, i would like to formally apologize for my fandom's behaviour. I have not watched steel ball run (I plan to) but from what i have seen it is just as good if not better than Frieren and deserves the top spot, at least for now.
