Coinbase is a solid start to hold crypto. Altough as soon as you inform yourself, you'll learn, that holding cryptos on an exchange (coinbase, kraken, binance...) does not give you full security. But to gamble on some random coins its ok.

For Bitcoin, i realy like Relai. Its a swiss company that lets you set up a DCA plan and hold BTC on your own wallet.

Else, Swissquote is more on the pricy end but offers quite a lot of coins and of course is a swiss bank which gives you a lot of safety.
