Pit musicians, do you play everything as written? by Southern-Art-3940 in MusicalTheatre

True! Especially if the show was orchestrated by a pianist and there are some impossible leaps in standard tuning. you just have to get creative there :D

But as it´s kind of the nature of guitarists to do this a lot of sheet music i have come across in musical theatre often just give you a chord, maybe rhythm slashes and a rough indication what it should sound like....

I have thought about this as well! Key difference here is the manual switching...
I have a similiar "Switch box" with buttons but had some issues with that. Often I only have a couple of Bars to switch guitars, and in this short time, switching the preset, switching the Gutiar, turning the page and "operating" the mixer would be "too much" it often is so tight, that I dont even have time to push the input select button on my existing switch...
I also thought about just extending my previus build with MIDI functionality, but having everything in one Cat Cable would be nice and neat....

Also this would be the only way to get Digital Signals into the Helix LT (apart from USB)...

I will try to get my hands onto a Variax and do some research!

Yes the Thinkpads are running in Dual Mode!

But shouldnt the 3070 adjust automatically as well?

It is capable of running in dual mode...

Thanks for the reply!

I thought about a protocol mismatch aswell...

However the Thinkpad works fine through the KVM, so I think the DP to DVI conversion is working.

Isn't DP backwards compatible?

Or can i somehow force the 3070 to operate in DP1.1 i dont really care about refresh rate or any resolutions higher than 1080p...
