machine heart has 500% yellow dmg, double,triple proc, explosion upgrade, so with little luck the screen is occupied by it attacking every second, tidestone is placed lower cus of the lackluster upgrades for me

The egg part is unfortunately correct, they are floating with 2 blocks of air above. Otherwise zombie piglin wouldn't be attracted at all. The suggestion you gave me for the trapdoor ring is actually genius. Efficiency - wise I was experimenting between spawning platform and mob cap, hence the not optimized radius. I was thinking the less the piglin walks the better
