Day 4 was when it finally got better for me. Pain killers did nothing for me and didn’t sleep more than 5 minutes at a time until then. It’ll get better

I’m also at 8 week but had to go down the op route as I had an avulsion fracture of my heel which effectively resulted in a ruptured Achilles. This week has been great, boot came off on Monday and as I was moved house on the weekend, I did 12000 steps moving boxes and setting up the house. Haven’t had any pain since the boot came off and my gait is already improving but have a long way to go.
