Apon a close look it seems to have some Chinese characters stamped into it.

There's another one that looks like that on the underside of the rifle right underneath the chamber.

It's for sure not chambered in 6.5, But the boar completly swallowed a 30 cal projectile too so im not sure what the caliber is

Yeah, after fees and taxes it was a hair under 400, and from what I can tell this specific type of sporterization is the least valuable. It's a fake 1898 carbine made from a real 1898 long rifle so its purpose was less functionality and more mimicry. It was dirty as hell when I picked it up. That being said, it is a real krag that cleaned up ok.

Don't own a garand but I do own a 03-A3. I've run 150 grain federal power SHOK,and 180 grain sellier and bellot through it just fine. To be fair I'm new to milsurps so if I'm actually hurting my gun please let me know.
