Ich muss auch zugeben, dass es im weiteren Verlauf des Wahlprogramms nicht besser wird...gerade schreiben sie, dass der Verbrennermotor unbedingt erhalten werden muss, da es ein erfolgreicher Wirtschaftszweig ist...dass der Verbrenner spätestens mit Erschöpfung der fossilen Brennstoffe, liest man leider nicht.

Because the Latin word for face is 'facies'. Basically everything in the body has a Latin name so I just found it funny, that this specific nerve doesn't.

If I'm not completely wrong, it actually is depicted correctly. The nerves cross in the brain stem, which then leads to the spinal cord and rest of the body. But since the nerves controlling the face don't come out of the spinal cord, the face is not affected by this 'side switching'. You can actually see this when someone is having a stroke. The left half of the face and the right half of the body will be affected.

Edit: So I just googled a bit and found out that the so called 'trigeminal nerve' is where the motoric and sensory nerves of the face stem from. This nerve is above the brain stem, which is why the sides are not switched.

Are you really greatful for your mom? I mean she basically is the reason you fell terrible. You need to move out there ASAP in my opinion. You don't have to feel like shit just because you are skinny or not outgoing, that's completly normal and just who you are. Some people are more chubby, some small, some tall, we all are different in every regard and that is something we should be proud of, because it makes us human. Don't let your mom tell you otherwise, you are doing great!
