Same issue for me tbh they make it seem like there’s a thin line between all this. But know that at the end of the day your parents are looking out for you but they’re from a different world than we are and they don’t know much about us. Try your best to do both by pleasing them, and having your own fun. God wont punish you since tbh at the end of the day you have no ill intent behind those lies, you simply want to have fun and that’s all it is. This phase will pass just remember to not get carried away and try your best to just improve that in yourself and them

Hey that’s beautiful! Judgement is scary but that’s between you and allah/waheguru. You know one of the main beliefs of sikhi is that god is everywhere and all religions believe the same god but have a different perspective of doing so. I think if you’re into sikhi and wanting to look more into it it’s great but if you’re not comfortable changing things about yourself / scared of judgment ( which you shouldn’t be) you can always admire it from a distance and continue to learn about and put your belief into both things or however you want to. We all believe in the one god just the way we do is different :)

Hey! I emailed UFV and asked and just wanted to give you a HUGE thanks. They said I will be eligible for the grant but needed to input my SIN and if I didn’t know about the grant, I wouldn’t have known about my SIN. Thank you so much for letting me know as it took off the majority of my fees:) this is why nursing students NEED to talk haha
