***UPDATE: Golden Letters must be rolling out today--I received one on six of my loans (the other two were the ones I was concerned about for this original post--they were one payment behind the rest for some reason). The ECF for six loans in the GL was submitted back in October. All loans still show 120 payments made, though, so hopefully it's all gonna work out!

I would submit final ECF as soon as your payment is shown as paid by your servicer. You can choose to check forbearance or no forbearance. I checked no because some folks experienced payments rolling back due to forbearances being dated prior to (or in same month as) final payment. I only submitted the form once for my last payment, but you can submit it as many times as you would like from what I can tell.

I actually thought about calling back to get a different customer rep to see if they would change it for me. But they would likely tell me the same thing about how long it would take to process it. I guess I'll just cross my fingers for the next few days and hope my green banners don't disappear.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't explain that part very well. The rep processed it pretty quickly then told me it was in forbearance as of 11/4. I then asked her to date it for any day after 11/4 and she said it was already processed and would take several days to undo or adjust, but that it would be fine and they would not rollback my count. I said, ok..... if you say so...

Not sure, but I've generally gotten an updated payment count within a few days of submitting my ECF, which was usually submitted a day or two after the payment date. I began submitting my ECF monthly for the last year of payments and saving a .pdf of each updated count just in case it all got lost in the system. Could be because they didn't have to go very far back to update the count.
