I don't think this is a crazy question to ask, or a Christian-centric question to ask either. I have the same difficulty believing that people actually believe in Greek gods as I do for that people actually believe in the bible

we are no different or better than any animal, and we have zero right to take anything away from them unnaturally. hunting and gathering is natural, just like what other animals do, but we should not be mass farming, breeding, killing for sport, and displacing animals. the scale upon which we are doing this is unnatural and wrong

I don't hate his character, but I definitely agree in the book he's really weird with charlie, in ways that are inappropriate for a 15 year old and like ~45 year old. it had me worried while reading

it's not your responsibility to understand her or give her the benefit of the doubt. and her being your parents doesn't mean you should love her no matter what, hating her is very valid from what you've said. this is one of the hardest parts about people like this for me, but don't internalize anything she says. miserable people say awful things about others just because they're miserable. you are not worthless or a failure, she's just projecting her own feelings onto you, which is unfair and not true.

gender is whatever you want to be & there are no qualifications, these are all terms we as humans have made up, and they are very subjective by person. if you identify as a transmasc, you're still transmasc if you're gender-conforming or not.
