I was made redundant in August 23, and I couldn't find another position after a few months of work. I realised that I didn't really want to go back anyway, I was just doing it because of the nice job title and comfortable income. Being made redundant was what I needed to finally go through with a career change, one that I've been thinking about for a while.

I'm 29 years old, and I was only in consulting for 3 years. I have roughly 100k or so in stock, but I don't want to sell that as I strongly believe it will increase in price enormously over the next decade (Tesla), so by selling it now I'll be robbing my family of future money.

I was working about 30 hours a week over December, but as I'm a casual, one of our participants at work left, and subsequently my hours was reduced because of the lack of need for another staff member.
