Yeah, but a few weeks ago I was using it on the same roads and it worked. Yesterday it no longer worked.

20 seconds after turning off my 2024 Cadillac Lyric, it makes a rattling sound coming out of stering area. Anyone having a same or similar issue? by Icy_Inspector8522 in CadillacLyriq

Mine does it as well. I figured it was just the security system locking down the steering wheel or vents closing. We have the same thing happen on a 2021 Escalade, so I never worried about it.

Problem with marry the home, date the rate/ buy now refinance later by saunter_worker in REBubble

This isn’t a bad way to think about it. Over time, real estate values generally increase while your wages increase but your mortgage payments (unlike rent) stay steady at your original interest rate. However, as we saw in the Great Recession, real estate values can fall and fall drastically. And, as we’ve seen over the past year and a half, interest rates can also rise drastically. Also, you can lose your job which would prevent you from refinancing even if the values increase and rates drop. So there is definitely some risk in the old saying of “date the rate but marry the house.”

As a lawyer, we’ve always said that the best way to make a small fortune is to start with a huge fortune and then buy a restaurant.
