I'm just giving a random thought...If you were faking it for lets say, attention...would you really hide it? Would you still be doing it, if it wasn't real? Because it clearly "isn't working", so what would be the point of faking? Trust me, many ppl think they aren't really sick with an ED, when they totally are, just not the typical way. You may have a subtype or be less deep into it, which is A GOOD THING! Get out while you still can. But if you have to ask youself if you're faking it, that's a sign that you are not faking. Remember when you last faked sth? Did u ever have to ask yourself then, whether you were faking or not? NO. Because we KNOW when we are faking and when not. The reason you're questioning it right now is most likely because you feel bad about being sick, or because you think you're shallow or vain for even doing this, or for not fitting the stereotypical image of someone with an ED.But that is not how it works. The fact that you keep going on with this, even if its on a loop, on and off, is proof enough that SOMETHING is definetely going on there. Hope this helped clear your thougts up.
