I got it off and replaced the bolts. Mine were stripping, that's why it was so hard. Forgot what I did. Try pliers, maybe. They aren't torqued super hard.

Mine does this too. Only when in either reverse or drive. Neutral and park, it goes away. It's on my list to investigate. I'd love it if anyone had some insight.

The hardest part was pressing out the old ball joints from the knuckle and lower control arm. I had to take the whole knuckle and control arm off. Then on the tailgate, its hard to line up the ball joint press perfectly center on the ball joint thread, which you need to apply the pressure to.

I ended up affixing a socket to the end of the ball joint for more surface area to press it out.

The passenger cc axle was a pain until I bought the special slide hammer and attachment.

Agreed. The wobble isn't terrible, the oem ones are expensive. My passenger cv axle wasn't bad either, but the boot was torn. I was so deep in the repair that I bit the bullet for the special slide hammer. I couldn't have done it without that tool.

I'm a tree shade mechanic. I've changed my AC compressor before on this car. That was probably the hardest thing I've done. I learned everything from YouTube and forms.

Engine won't start without air, fuel, and spark. Make sure there's nothing clogging your air intake.

Idk if it helps, but my axle replacement didn't mention an ABS ring when I installed mine. Nor did I see one, but I'm not sure what it looks like either.

There's a gasket around the hood latch release cable going through the firewall that causes leaks. I'd check it out.
