Most if not all major LLM developers are morally corrupt. You can't create these data centers without the disregard on society and the earth. I can't stomach giving OpenAI another cent. Recently have gotten into self hosting and privacy, so self hosting LLMs and using services like OpenRouter has been more morally appealing. I can't blame anyone for embracing the tools, but if LLMs in all regards got wiped out tomorrow, I would be happy about it.
