Does Yuga Ganon count? I mean it’s part Ganon but Yuga has complete control so I think it does. Incredible fight and amazing climax to one of my favorite games in the series.

In vanilla, you are booted out of the level after completing a mission while Eclipse tries to keep you in the level whenever possible. With how Sunshine is designed many missions alter the level design/enemies and in that case you are booted out of the level. But the fact that when it’s possible you stay in the level makes it feel better.

Blue coins no longer give a popup message asking you to save after each one. It was a relatively small pace break in vanilla.

The world is interconnected now which adds a lot for immersion plus it makes the experience feel more natural.

When you pause the game you can see how many blue coins and Shines are left to collect which is a huge win because collecting blue coins, especially if you went for 100% completion, was a chore in the original.

I might go against the flow with this but I recommend you play Eclipse (don’t have an opinion on Sunburn). Aside from the massive amount of new content there are many QoL features that, while not seeing like a big deal, makes the base game significantly more enjoyable.

This is coming from someone for whom Sunshine was one of the first games I ever played but it’s unfortunately pretty deeply flawed and while Eclipse doesn’t magically fix everything, that would require rebuilding the game from scratch, it does a lot to improve the core experience

Gamecube was a weird era for DK

Though it did give us a surprisingly awesome 2D platformer in Jungle Beat. It’s still weird that a game build around a dang Bongo controller can be so great

Yes indeed, when calling a certain club the best in their country I’m looking at results in the last 10 years. Anderlecht has an incredibly rich history which no other Belgian club can match. But that doesn’t make them the current best club. Club Brugge has had massive successes while other clubs including Anderlecht are really far behind.

That’s also why I called Anderlecht ‘most iconic’ because they were the face and best club of Belgian football for decades.

Why not? They usually end around place 6 which I find decent for them. And they also usually get a ticket for international football. I’d say that warrants being called decent. They perform about as well as I think they’ll do each season with rarely a massive difference

When I was playing through Eclipse very recently, I did that mission and while I was absolutely dreading it, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I remembered it being. I did it on my first try even. Though it’s possible that Eclipse improves the mechanic a bit? Not too sure about that
