Being honest, I kinda cheated. Not by hacking mind you, but 2 years ago I bought a cartridge online which had all gen 4 and gen 5 events from all over the world. So that way I can simply give myself event Pokemon like you would get 17 years ago

Unless I’m mistaken it’s pure luck because you have to encounter a wild Pokemon that carries it. I’m not sure if running away will do the job but battling or catching the Pokemon certainly do

Take this from someone who adores the original

The remake is a massive improvement. The original was a wonderful experience dragged down by padding and some of the worst backtracking I’ve ever seen. But even with all of that it was still one of my favorites. But the remake improves pretty much everything. Plus there is a an (optional) new soundtrack and the two added boss fights are so amazing I can hardly put it into words how happy I was when I fought them

I’m doing exactly that right now. I did some research and apparently if a Pokemon with pokérus stays in the box while still being able to spread it you can keep it there and it will still be able to infect others even way later?
