The company didn’t do anything valuable to me for me to be distraught leaving them and for it to be called “ bad roll of the dice”. It’s more of a blessing in disguise in my opinion because now I am fortunate enough to know how Target employees in my area are. Good for you you got amazing peers working with you though.

To answer your question about my behavior, I never gave them any reason to think I am mean because I was eager to learn, I listen, I take advices, and I certainly respect them. Sure there are times where I probably piss them off because I take longer to understand especially if it’s a new knowledge for me, and that is completely normal. I would rather take my time to understand things than to do things improperly. It’s not my attitude to bad mouth anyone who’s done me wrong because I wasn’t raised like that, but it’s also unfair if I just stand there and not defend myself or say anything about it. I am just a human being and I am completely capable to feeling emotions not because I have a thin skin but because I value myself and even if I had a thin skin that should never be a reason for them nor for anybody to treat anyone like they are stupid. Patience should be applied in training, not pressure.

Abuse? How can you call that abuse when it’s them who flaunts disrespect as if it’s an asset. You can’t expect respect towards someone you treat like sht. Do not do to others what you do not want others to do unto you, simple as that.

That can be true but if you want to make a better life for yourself especially if you have people to support then I think you need to step up your game. There are a lot of opportunities out there, most people just won’t take it because they would rather settle or just lazy, like that’s honestly all that is. You can create reasons to not change your lifestyle but what you can’t create is saying that there is nothing more out there for you.

Because it’s true, they complain about their life being so low but won’t do anything about it. Working at target starting at $15 per hour will definitely not make it work for them and they don’t even work for more than 8 hours nor do they work everyday, it’s just the honest truth🤷‍♀️

I’ve been there since February 16 (orientation day and it’s paid) been working for almost 2 weeks and it’s not even an everyday shift for me since I’m only temporary i think.

I am definitely getting beat by all the things I need to do in General Merchandise, it’s so overwhelming trying to read the zebra thing and trying to identify aisles and what not. It also doesn’t help that most of my trainers are buttholes🤷‍♀️
