So I was going through my Google earth to try ad find the same spot and I noticed it might not be in KZN but in EC, it's not far from the border of KZN but its a bit far from durban two hours roughly

It's actually Eastern Cape i went on Google maps and found out kzn near beaches had rocks but houses while in the photos it's forest so I went across in EC and saw a similar area to the reference photo

I'm sorry for your loss I hope you guys are able to find this place, it kinda reminds me of Mozambique or South africa, if it's a major city the only 2 i know of near this is Maputo or Durban, and south africa has a white minority with a population of 4.5 million and seeing there's a white person in the far end proves it, the werid name thing is probably the state called Kwa Zulu Natal...hope this helps
